Bayern Munich dismiss Michael Olise exit rumours

FC Bayern are not planning any talks about Michael Olise’s future, and the club sees no reason to panic.

Jan-Christian Dreesen said Bayern are not in negotiations and pointed out that the winger is tied to the club until 2029, so there is no need to rush.

Rumours linking Olise with Real Madrid had caused noise earlier in the summer, but Bayern never opened the door to a sale. Dreesen made clear that much of the reporting around the story left him both amused and irritated, and he repeated the club’s view that the speculation was “Nonsense.”

“As someone in charge who also knows the insights, you’re sometimes amused and sometimes irritated by what gets written. We’ve always said: That’s nonsense. That was and that’s it.”

The 24-year-old Frenchman backed that stance on the pitch against Stuttgart, where he scored once and set up another goal in Bayern’s 5-1 win. His performance was another reminder of why the club values him so highly and why it is relaxed about the situation.
