Morocco defender Khalek Ahmidouch makes fresh CR Al Hoceima move

Morocco centre-back Khalek Ahmidouch has joined CR Al Hoceima from Fath Nador on a free transfer, returning to the club he represented earlier in his career.

The 35-year-old completed the move on 28 August 2026 after one season with Fath Nador. Ahmidouch had joined Fath Nador from CA Khenifra on a free transfer in August 2025, before switching clubs again at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Ahmidouch brings experience of Moroccan domestic football to CR Al Hoceima, having made 91 appearances in Botola Pro Inwi and scored two goals. He has also featured three times in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine and twice in the Excellence Cup.

The defender previously spent time with CA Khenifra, moving there from RCA Zemamra in August 2024. His career also includes a spell with Naft Al-Basra, following his departure from CR Al Hoceima in September 2019.

His return to CR Al Hoceima reunites him with the club after almost seven years away. Ahmidouch left for Naft Al-Basra during the 2019-20 season and later continued his career with RCA Zemamra, CA Khenifra and Fath Nador before making his way back.

Born in Al Hoceima, Ahmidouch stands 1.86m tall and is right-footed. He is listed primarily as a centre-back, the position in which he has recorded the majority of his senior appearances.

The move adds another established Moroccan defender to CR Al Hoceima’s squad, with Ahmidouch arriving after a campaign in which he remained active across domestic competitions. His previous clubs include four from Morocco and Naft Al-Basra.

Ahmidouch’s free transfer to CR Al Hoceima was completed on 28 August 2026.
