Rayan Zinebi signs for Real Madrid

Moroccan forward Rayan Zinebi has joined Real Madrid on loan from Granada for the 2026/27 season as the young striker continues his development in Spain.

Granada confirmed the agreement after renewing Zinebi’s contract until 30 June 2029, with the option of extending the deal by a further two years depending on sporting objectives.

The move gives the Morocco prospect an opportunity to continue his development within Real Madrid’s structure during the upcoming campaign.

Zinebi made an impression at Granada

Zinebi joined Granada in the summer of 2025 as a Juvenile A player before progressing into the club’s reserve setup.

The forward made 24 appearances in the Tercera RFEF last season, scoring seven goals.

He was also productive for Granada’s youth side, finding the net nine times in 11 appearances across the league, Copa del Rey and Champions Cup.

His performances earned him an opportunity with the senior team, where he made his official debut.

Real Madrid offer next step in development

The loan move represents another significant step for the young Moroccan, who will now spend the 2026/27 campaign within the Real Madrid system.

While Granada have retained his long-term contractual rights, the Spanish giants will provide Zinebi with a new environment in which to continue his development.

For Moroccan football, the move represents another opportunity for a promising young player to develop within one of Europe’s leading football academies.

Zinebi will now look to build on his impressive breakthrough season as he begins his latest chapter in Madrid.
