Oscar Ezejiofor switches to Malta as Mosta FC complete free signing

Nigeria centre-forward Oscar Ezejiofor has joined Mosta FC from Czech Republic-based side C. Budejovice B on a free transfer.

The 20-year-old completed the move on 27 August 2026 and becomes a Mosta player as the club prepare for the Premier League Opening Round in Malta. Ezejiofor’s arrival gives the club a new attacking option in the centre-forward position.

Ezejiofor spent the previous spell of his career with C. Budejovice B, having joined the club from Romanian side Cetatea Tr. M. on a free transfer in September 2025. His time in the Czech Republic followed an earlier move from Right2Win SA, also completed without a transfer fee.

The forward’s recorded competitive involvement includes 14 appearances in the CFL, where he scored once. He was credited with 405 minutes of playing time and a goal every 405 minutes in that competition.

Ezejiofor began that sequence of moves with Team360 before joining Right2Win SA in July 2023. He then switched to Cetatea Tr. M. in October 2024, before moving to C. Budejovice B the following season. Each of those recorded transfers was completed without a fee.

His move to Mosta represents a change of country and league, taking him from the Czech football set-up to Malta. Mosta FC are the latest club in his career after his progression through teams in Nigeria-linked, Romanian and Czech football environments.

Ezejiofor arrives at the Maltese club at the age of 20, with his role identified as a centre-forward. The transfer history records no fee for the move, and no contract expiry date has been announced.

The Nigerian striker’s switch was completed on 27 August, making Mosta FC his new club for the 2026-27 campaign.
