Club Africain consider move for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya striker Haythem Jouini

Tunisian forward Haythem Jouini, currently with Iraq Stars League champions Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, is being linked with a move to Club Africain.

The 33-year-old centre-forward joined the Iraqi club from Dibba Al-Hisn on a free transfer in July 2025 and helped Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya win the Iraqi title last season. He has one appearance in the Iraq Stars League this campaign, with no goals or assists recorded.

Jouini is under contract with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya until 30 June 2027, meaning any move to Club Africain would involve a transfer agreement unless his contractual position changes.

A return to Tunisia would take Jouini back to the country where he began his senior career with Esperance Tunis. He won the CAF Champions League twice with Esperance, in 2018 and 2019, and was also part of four Tunisian championship-winning teams with the club.

Jouini has since played for Al-Ain, El Mokawloon, Al-Ahly, Stade Tunisien and Dibba Al-Hisn before moving to Iraq. His honours also include Tunisian Cup victories with Esperance and Stade Tunisien, while he was the competition’s leading scorer in the 2013-14 CAF Champions League with six goals.

The rumour places Jouini in contention for a move from Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya to Club Africain, who compete in Tunisia’s Ligue 1.
