Namory Sangare joins CS Hammam-Lif as Mali midfielder switches from Al-Borouq
Mali midfielder Namory Sangare has joined Tunisia’s CS Hammam-Lif from Libyan club Al-Borouq, adding a 23-year-old defensive midfielder to the Ligue 1 side’s squad.
Sangare’s move was completed on 26 August 2026, and he has signed a contract with CS Hammam-Lif running until 30 June 2028. The transfer follows one season at Al-Borouq, where he made 23 appearances in the Libyan Premier League and played 1,775 minutes.
The right-footed midfielder arrives in Tunisia after spending the 2025-26 campaign with Al-Borouq. He joined the Libyan club from Abu Salim on 1 September 2025 in a free transfer, having previously represented Al-Akhdar and US Tataouine.
Sangare began his senior career with Malian club Djoliba AC before moving to US Tataouine in August 2023. His switch to Al-Akhdar followed in August 2024, while a move to Abu Salim was completed in February 2025.
He has also played in Tunisia’s top flight, making 11 Ligue 1 appearances and featuring for 930 minutes. During his time in the Tunisian league’s play-out competition, he made eight appearances and provided one assist.
Sangare’s playing role is primarily in defensive midfield. He stands 1.80 metres tall and has represented Mali at club level through his career, with his latest move taking him back to Tunisia after a season in Libya.
CS Hammam-Lif compete in the Tunisian Ligue 1, while Al-Borouq’s 2025-26 campaign was in the Libyan Premier League. Sangare’s arrival therefore marks a return to the Tunisian top flight, where he already has experience from his spell with US Tataouine and later Al-Akhdar.
The transfer also brings together a player with experience across Mali, Tunisia and Libya, with Sangare having moved between clubs in those countries since leaving Djoliba AC. At 23, he joins CS Hammam-Lif with a contract that keeps him at the club through the end of June 2028.
Sangare has now completed his move from Al-Borouq to CS Hammam-Lif and is contracted to the Tunisian club until 2028.
