Achref Jabri linked with Dinamo Makhachkala move from Esperance

Tunisia forward Achref Jabri is the subject of a reported transfer link from Esperance to Russian Premier Liga club Dinamo Makhachkala.

Jabri, 24, plays as a centre-forward and has been with Esperance since joining from the club’s under-21 side in July 2022. He spent the 2023-24 season on loan at ES Zarzis before returning to Esperance at the start of 2025.

The forward has made one appearance in Ligue 1 during the 2026-27 season, providing one assist without scoring. He was not named in the starting XI and has played 26% of the available minutes in the campaign so far.

Jabri’s reported link with Dinamo Makhachkala comes while he remains under contract with Esperance until 30 June 2028. His current market value is listed at €600,000, although no transfer fee has been reported.

He has won two Tunisian league titles, two Tunisian Super Cups and two Tunisian Cups with Esperance. The Tunisian club won the league in both 2023-24 and 2024-25, while its most recent cup success came in the 2025-26 season.

A move to Dinamo Makhachkala would take Jabri from Tunisia’s Ligue 1 to Russia’s top flight, but the transfer remains at the rumour stage and there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached.
