Stade Marocain bring in Morocco goalkeeper Omar Bouaissi from Ben Guerir
Morocco goalkeeper Omar Bouaissi has joined Stade Marocain from Ben Guerir on a free transfer, giving the club a new option between the posts ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Bouaissi, 30, completed the move on 24 August 2026 and is contracted to Stade Marocain until 30 June 2027. The Casablanca-born goalkeeper becomes the latest addition to a career that has seen him move between Moroccan clubs without a transfer fee.
He arrives at Stade Marocain after two seasons with Ben Guerir, whom he joined from USM Oujda in August 2024. His time at Ben Guerir ended with the switch to Stade Marocain, with the move recorded as another free transfer.
Bouaissi began that sequence of transfers at COD Meknes, joining from Widad Temara in August 2022. He then moved to USM Oujda a year later before making the move to Ben Guerir.
The goalkeeper stands 1.84 metres tall and is left-footed. His arrival adds experience to Stade Marocain’s squad, with Bouaissi having spent the past four seasons moving through the Moroccan club game.
Born in Casablanca on 4 October 1995, Bouaissi has spent his career in Morocco. His move to Stade Marocain is the latest step in a run of successive club changes since he left Widad Temara in 2022.
Stade Marocain have now secured Bouaissi’s services through the end of June 2027, with the goalkeeper joining the club from Ben Guerir without a transfer fee.
