CR Temouchent bring in Algeria midfielder Sid Ahmed Aissaoui on free transfer

CR Temouchent have signed Algeria midfielder Sid Ahmed Aissaoui from MC Algiers on a free transfer, with the 21-year-old joining the Ligue 1 club on 22 August 2026.

Aissaoui has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2027 and becomes part of CR Temouchent’s squad after helping MC Algiers win the Algerian championship during the 2025-26 season.

The central midfielder, born in Blida, began his senior career with USM Alger’s Under-21 side before moving to CSKA Moscow in February 2024. That transfer followed his spell with the academy of the Algerian Football Federation, where he had arrived from USM Blida’s Under-21 team.

Aissaoui spent the first half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Moldovan club FC Sheriff before returning to CSKA. He then joined MC Algiers on loan in February 2025, prior to making the move permanent in July of the same year for €250,000.

His departure from MC Algiers comes after one season with the club and follows their league title success. He now remains in Algeria, moving from one Ligue 1 side to another as CR Temouchent strengthen their midfield options.

The right-footed player stands 1.83m tall and is listed primarily as a central midfielder. His move to CR Temouchent represents the latest stage of a career that has already taken him from Algerian youth football to clubs in Russia and Moldova before his return to domestic competition.

Aissaoui’s previous move to MC Algiers came after his loan spell at the club had ended, while his departure for CR Temouchent has been recorded as a free transfer. The new agreement keeps the Algeria midfielder at CR Temouchent through the end of June 2027.

Sid Ahmed Aissaoui has therefore completed his free transfer from MC Algiers to CR Temouchent.
