Uganda striker Allan Egaku has joined KCB Nairobi from Kigezi Homeboyz, giving the Kenyan club a new attacking option for the 2026-27 season.

The move was completed on 22 August 2026, with Egaku arriving after seven months at Kigezi Homeboyz. He joined the Ugandan side on 1 January 2026 and now switches clubs as KCB Nairobi’s number nine.

Egaku, who plays as a striker, has already featured in continental competition during the current campaign. He made one appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup, playing 45 minutes.

His latest move is the next stage of a career that has also included Proline FC. Egaku joined Proline in July 2017 and remained with the club until July 2021, when he moved on before later returning to Ugandan football with Kigezi Homeboyz.

The transfer keeps the Uganda international footballer in the region while taking him to KCB Nairobi, also known as Kenya Commercial Bank Nairobi. His arrival gives the club an established centre-forward option ahead of its upcoming fixtures.

Egaku’s switch is the third recorded club change of his senior career. He initially joined Proline FC as a free agent in 2017, while his move to Kigezi Homeboyz in January 2026 also came without a transfer fee. The terms of his agreement with KCB Nairobi have not been disclosed.

The striker joins a KCB Nairobi side that will now have his experience available in attack, with his most recent competitive appearance coming in the CAF Confederation Cup. His role is defined by the central attacking position he has occupied throughout the recorded stages of his career.

Egaku has therefore moved from Kigezi Homeboyz to KCB Nairobi, completing his switch on 22 August 2026.
