Olympique de Marseille are preparing for concrete offers for Amine Gouiri as the transfer window reaches its closing stages, with clubs from Italy, Spain and England showing strong interest in the Algeria international.

Gouiri has emerged as one of the most sought-after attacking players in Europe during the final phase of the market. Como and Lazio are keeping a close watch on the forward in Italy, while Atletico de Madrid and Villarreal have identified him as a possible target in Spain.

Both Spanish clubs are considering their options in case they lose players before the window closes, and Gouiri is among the names they have selected to cover possible departures. In England, Everton are also pushing strongly to secure his services.

The growing interest means Olympique de Marseille could soon have to assess firm proposals for a player they would prefer to retain. Although the club is braced for offers, the position of head coach Bruno Genesio is understood to be unequivocal.

Genesio values Gouiri’s qualities and is keen for the 25-year-old to remain part of his squad for the coming season. The French manager regards the forward’s profile as particularly important to the team, making a potential departure a significant issue for the Marseille club.

Gouiri himself is not seeking a move away this summer. The striker feels especially settled in Marseille and is comfortable playing in the club’s colours. His own preference, therefore, is not currently driving the speculation surrounding his future.

However, the volume of firm interest expected during the final hours of the transfer window could place Olympique de Marseille’s leadership under pressure. A succession of offers from prominent European clubs may force the club to weigh its desire to keep Gouiri against the opportunity presented by the market.

The situation remains open as the deadline approaches. On one side, Genesio wants to continue working with the Algeria international and Gouiri is happy at Olympique de Marseille. On the other, the attention from Como, Lazio, Atletico de Madrid, Villarreal and Everton has created the possibility of a late transfer decision.

For now, the forward is not actively pushing for an exit, while Olympique de Marseille are preparing for the possibility that formal bids will arrive. The next stage of the market could determine whether Gouiri stays in the squad for the new season or becomes the subject of one of the window’s most closely watched late moves.
