Fantasy FilGoal returns for 2026-27 with PlayStation 5 prize up for grabs

The seventh consecutive edition of Fantasy FilGoal has launched to coincide with the start of the 2026-27 Egyptian Premier League season, with the winner set to claim a PlayStation 5.

FilGoal.com’s fantasy football game gives supporters the chance to build their own squads, select leading players from the competition and compete against thousands of other participants for top spot and the main prize.

With the Egyptian Premier League fixture list now announced and clubs’ squads and new signings taking shape, users can log in, create their teams and prepare to compete from the opening round.

How Fantasy FilGoal works

Each registered user must select a squad of 15 players from Egyptian Premier League clubs. The squad must contain:

– Two goalkeepers – Five defenders – Five midfielders – Three forwards

Players must be chosen within a virtual budget of 100m Egyptian pounds, while no more than three players can be selected from the same club.

Before the deadline for each round, users must name a starting XI. The deadline is one hour before the first match of the round begins. They must also select a captain through the “My Team” page. The captain’s points are doubled in the final round calculation.

Points are awarded according to players’ performances in matches and can be followed through the “My Points” page. If a selected starter does not play, the first eligible substitute is automatically brought in, subject to the order of the substitutes and the formation rules.

Every user receives one free transfer per round. Further transfers result in points being deducted and can be completed through the “My Transfers” page.

Points awarded during matches are provisional and will be reviewed after the end of each round before they are confirmed as final.

Registration and prizes

Users must enter their telephone number and email address correctly when registering so that the FilGoal.com team can contact the winners.

Winners will be announced through FilGoal.com’s official accounts. If a winner does not provide complete and accurate contact details, the prize will be withheld.

Registration and team creation are available at Fantasy.FilGoal.com. The game can also be accessed through the Android, iPhone and Huawei applications.

The FilGoal app must be updated to its latest version for the 2026-27 competition to appear.

Points system

General points

– Appearance: one point – Playing more than 60 minutes: two points – Assist: three points – Missed penalty: minus two points – Yellow card: minus one point – Red card: minus three points – Own goal: minus two points

Goalkeepers

– Goal: seven points – Saved penalty: five points – Clean sheet: four points – Important save: one point – Goal conceded: minus one point

Defenders

– Goal: six points – Clean sheet: four points – Goal conceded: minus one point

Midfielders

– Goal: five points – Clean sheet: one point

Forwards

– Goal: four points

Additional features

The “Bench Points” option adds the points scored by all substitute players to the user’s total for that round. It can be activated once during the season and cancelled up to one hour before the first match of the round begins.

The “Free Transfers” option allows an unlimited number of transfers without any points deduction. It can be used four times during the season, but cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

The “Captain x3” option increases the captain’s points threefold instead of doubling them. It can be used once during the season and cancelled up to one hour before the first match of the round starts.

Bonus points awarded to the best-performing players in each round are also added to users’ totals.

Automatic substitutions apply when a starter does not take part in a match. An eligible substitute from the same position is selected, following the order set by the user. For example, if a defender in the starting XI does not play and two defenders on the bench have already featured, the defender with the higher bench priority comes into the team.

If a player in a user’s squad moves to another club within the competition and that transfer leaves the user with more than three players from the same club, the additional player will remain in the squad temporarily. However, when the user next makes an amendment, the squad must return to the limit of three players from each club.

Users can now build their teams, choose their captains carefully and compete with friends and fans of Egyptian football for the standings and prizes.
