Toulouse explore move for AC Milan’s German-Nigerian defender David Odogu
German-Nigerian centre-back David Odogu is being linked with a move from AC Milan to Toulouse, with the Ligue 1 club considering a transfer for the 20-year-old. The rumour places Odogu among Toulouse’s potential defensive targets, although there has been no confirmation that an agreement has been reached.
Odogu joined Milan from Wolfsburg on 1 September 2025 in a transfer reported at €7m. He remains under contract at San Siro until 30 June 2029, meaning any move would involve negotiations with the Serie A club rather than a free transfer.
The defender has made two Serie A appearances for Milan, playing five minutes in total, and also featured once in the Italy Cup for 11 minutes. His current market value is listed at €5m.
Born in Berlin, Odogu developed at Wolfsburg after joining the club’s youth system from Union Berlin in 2020. He helped Germany win the Under-17 World Cup in 2023, the same year the national side also claimed the European Under-17 Championship.
Milan’s decision to sign Odogu followed his progression through Wolfsburg’s youth teams and senior squad. The defender made three Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg before his move to Italy, where he has so far had limited first-team playing time.
The Toulouse link comes with Odogu still tied to Milan for almost three more years, leaving his position at the Italian club and the French side’s level of interest unresolved.
