Lille is set to travel to Hérault to face Montpellier this Saturday in the 10th round of Ligue 1. The previous matchday proved successful for Ronny Rodelin’s LOSC, with the Reunionese player entering the pitch in the 43rd minute during the game against Ajaccio, which Lille won 3-0 with goals from Souaré (17th), Gueye (57th), and Kalou (70th).
Although Ronny Rodelin has not secured a consistent spot in the starting lineup since the beginning of the season, the 24-year-old remains optimistic. He sees progress since January, emphasizing the importance of playing more minutes on the field to adapt to the rhythm of Ligue 1 and build partnerships with teammates.
“I think a step has been taken since last January. Playing more, doing your minutes on the pitch, it changes a lot of things. We take the rhythm of Ligue 1, we work on the automatisms with the partners. It is also a mark of confidence from the club and the coach. I have to rely on that to continue to progress. The choice of LOSC was well studied. I knew it was going to be difficult, but in no way do I regret it. Today, I am very happy to play at LOSC. What we are offering, our group, our state of mind, our playing system, our playing philosophy, that’s what I expected,” stated the former Nantes player on the official website of the northern club.
