Loren Zúñiga joins Al Madina on three-year deal after Real Madrid Castilla spell

Equatorial Guinea international Loren Zúñiga has completed a move to Libyan side Al Madina on a three-year contract after leaving Spanish club Real Madrid Castilla.

The forward joins Al Madina as the Libyan club look to strengthen their attacking options with the addition of a player who has gained experience in Spain’s youth national-team system and at one of the country’s most prominent football academies.

Zúñiga, regarded as an exciting attacking prospect, came through the ranks in Spain and represented Real Madrid Castilla before making the switch to the Libyan league.

The move represents a new chapter in the career of the forward, who has previously worn Spain’s colours at youth level, featuring for the Under-19 and Under-23 teams.

Despite his involvement with Spain’s youth setup, Zúñiga later opted to represent Equatorial Guinea at senior international level.

That decision opened the door for him to feature at the Africa Cup of Nations, giving the forward an opportunity to compete on the continental stage and further establish himself internationally.

His arrival at Al Madina is therefore expected to bring both club and international experience to the Libyan side as they prepare for the challenges ahead.
