Hammam-Lif track Tunisia right-back Raed Fadaa in Ligue 1 switch

Tunisia right-back Raed Fadaa is the subject of a rumoured move from ES Metlaoui to fellow Ligue 1 club CS Hammam-Lif.

Fadaa, 29, joined Metlaoui on a free transfer on 1 January 2026 after leaving Esperance the previous summer. He remains under contract with Metlaoui until 30 June 2027.

The defender has made 57 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists. He has also played in the CAF Champions League, recording 13 appearances and one assist, while featuring for Esperance in the competition during his time with the Tunisian club.

Fadaa spent most of his senior career at Esperance after progressing through the club’s youth system. He won the CAF Champions League with Esperance in 2018-19 and was part of four Tunisian championship-winning teams between 2018-19 and 2021-22.

The reported interest from Hammam-Lif would keep Fadaa in Tunisia’s top flight, where both clubs compete in Ligue 1. His current market value is listed at €25,000, although no transfer fee has been reported for the proposed move.

Fadaa’s status at Metlaoui remains unchanged, with the right-back contracted to the club for the 2026-27 season.
