Mohamed Salah named in Trabzonspor squad for Kasımpasa season opener

Mohamed Salah has been included in the Trabzonspor squad for their opening match of the 2026-27 Turkish league season against Kasımpasa.

Trabzonspor manager Fatih Tekke has announced his selection for Saturday’s fixture, which will be played at 19:00 local time at Kasımpasa’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium.

The match will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS 1 and is set to be Salah’s first appearance for Trabzonspor in a competitive fixture. The forward was not included in the squad for Saturday’s friendly against Goztepe, which Trabzonspor lost 2-1.

Salah missed that match at his own request because it came only a few days after he joined the club.

The experienced Egypt forward is listed among the attacking options for Trabzonspor, alongside Aral Simsir, Noah Saviolo, Rene Mitonga Muteba, Umut Nayir and Paul Onuachu.

Trabzonspor will begin their league campaign away from home, with Kasımpasa hosting the opening-round contest at their own stadium.

His absence from the recent friendly against Goztepe had meant the former club player had yet to make his first appearance for the side.
