Nasr El Arish strengthen midfield with Egypt’s Amir Ismail

Egyptian defensive midfielder Amir Ismail has joined Nasr El Arish from Domyat Club on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old completed the move on 14 August 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028. Ismail’s arrival gives Nasr El Arish an experienced domestic option in the holding midfield role as they prepare for the new campaign.

Ismail spent the 2025-26 season with Domyat Club, having moved there from Menyet El Nasr a year earlier. That switch was also completed as a free transfer, continuing a sequence of moves between Egyptian clubs during his career.

Before joining Menyet El Nasr, Ismail played for El Zarqa SC, where he arrived from El Magd in September 2023. He had joined El Magd earlier that year after a period without a club, following his departure from El Mahalla.

The midfielder began his senior career with Biyala, moving to El Mahalla in September 2021 for a fee of €2,000. His subsequent transfers to El Magd, El Zarqa SC, Menyet El Nasr and Domyat Club were all completed without a reported fee.

Ismail’s latest move keeps him in Egyptian football and takes him to his sixth club since leaving Biyala. He joins Nasr El Arish as an Egypt-eligible midfielder whose primary position is defensive midfield.

Nasr El Arish have secured Amir Ismail on a free transfer from Domyat Club, with the player contracted until June 2028.
