Youcef Belaïli officially returns to Espérance after suspension lifted
Algerian forward Youcef Belaïli has officially returned to Espérance de Tunis after the club confirmed that the suspension imposed on the experienced attacker has been lifted.
Espérance announced that Belaïli’s suspension has now been revoked, paving the way for the club to reactivate the contract he had previously signed with the player.
The decision means Belaïli is once again eligible to join Espérance’s squad and represent the Tunisian giants in competitive matches.
The Algerian international is expected to provide a major boost to Espérance as the club prepares for the new campaign, with his experience and attacking quality making him one of the team’s key players.
Belaïli has enjoyed a strong relationship with Espérance, having previously represented the club and played an important role during his earlier spells in Tunisia.
His return adds further quality to an Espérance squad with ambitions of competing strongly in domestic and continental competitions.
The lifting of the suspension also brings an end to the uncertainty surrounding Belaïli’s immediate future and allows the player to resume normal football activities with the club.
Espérance will now look to reintegrate the Algerian star into first-team training as preparations intensify for the upcoming season.
For Belaïli, the focus will be on returning to action and helping Espérance challenge for major honours once again.
