Khaled El Nabriss joins Ceramica Cleopatra on three-year free transfer

Palestinian forward Khaled El Nabriss has completed a free transfer to Ceramica Cleopatra, signing a three-year contract that will begin with the 2026-27 season.

The deal was finalised during the current summer transfer window, with El Nabriss putting pen to paper in the presence of his agent. His move brings an end to his time with Ismaily, with the player leaving the club after terminating his contract by mutual consent.

El Nabriss is set to remain with Ceramica Cleopatra until the conclusion of the 2028-29 season, having agreed terms covering three campaigns from next season. The transfer gives Ceramica Cleopatra a player with previous experience of Egyptian football and a substantial record of appearances for Ismaily.

The Palestinian joined Ismaily from Khan Younis in 2022. He subsequently left the club before returning to the Ismaili side, who are also known as the Darawish. His latest departure follows Ismaily’s relegation to the Pro League last season.

During the previous campaign, El Nabriss played 24 matches for Ismaily and provided two assists. Across his time with the club, he made 72 appearances, scoring seven goals and creating six more.

Those figures include his earlier spell and his return to Ismaily, where he continued to feature before completing his move to Ceramica Cleopatra. The new signing will now begin the next stage of his career with a club that finished fourth in the Egyptian league last season.

Ceramica Cleopatra’s fourth-place finish represented the club’s position at the end of the previous campaign, while Ismaily’s season ended with relegation to the Pro League. El Nabriss’s free transfer therefore sees him move from a side dropping into the second tier to one that finished among the leading teams in the Egyptian competition.

The agreement was formally signed after the two clubs’ respective situations had been established, with El Nabriss’s contract at Ismaily ended by mutual consent. Ceramica Cleopatra have secured his services without a transfer fee and will have him tied to the club for three seasons from 2026-27.

El Nabriss’s arrival is the latest step in a career that has included football with Khan Younis and two periods at Ismaily. His record of seven goals and six assists in 72 appearances will now form part of his background as he prepares to represent Ceramica Cleopatra.
