Njoh linked with return to France as Le Mans FC eye Servette defender
French-Cameroonian left-back Lilian Njoh, currently with Servette FC, is being linked with a move to Le Mans FC in Ligue 1.
The 24-year-old joined Servette from Salernitana on 31 July 2025 and has a contract with the Swiss club until 30 June 2027. The potential switch would represent a return to Le Mans, where Njoh played before moving to Italy.
Njoh has featured in all three of Servette’s Super League matches so far this season, starting two and playing 175 minutes. He has not scored or provided an assist during that run.
The defender began his senior career with US Colomiers before joining Le Mans in 2022. He moved to Salernitana two years later on a free transfer and made the switch to Servette for a reported €50,000 in 2025.
Njoh’s current market value is listed at €1.5m, while his Servette deal has almost two years remaining. Any move would therefore require agreement between the clubs rather than relying on the player entering the final months of his contract.
The reported interest comes as Le Mans prepare for life in Ligue 1, while Njoh remains part of Servette’s squad at the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
