Kansas City eye Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba for MLS switch

Paul Pogba, the France and Guinea midfielder currently at Monaco, has been linked with a move to Kansas City in Major League Soccer.

Pogba joined Monaco from Juventus on 1 July 2025 and remains under contract with the Ligue 1 club until 30 June 2027. The 33-year-old central midfielder is valued at €2.5m.

He has made six Ligue 1 appearances, covering 115 minutes, since returning to France. Pogba’s Monaco move followed his departure from Juventus in December 2024, after which he spent time without a club before joining the principality side.

The former Manchester United and Juventus player has also won the World Cup with France, lifting the trophy in 2018. He was part of the Manchester United side that won the Europa League in 2017 and collected four Serie A titles during his first spell with Juventus.

A move to Kansas City would represent a new chapter in Pogba’s career, but there is no indication yet that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player. Pogba’s current contract means Monaco would retain him beyond the 2026 transfer window unless terms are agreed for an early departure.
