Arthur Spadoni joins Crotone as teenage striker makes Serie C switch

DR Congo-Italian forward Arthur Spadoni has joined Crotone on loan from Avellino Under-19, giving the Serie C club a 19-year-old centre-forward with experience in Italy’s youth competitions.

The move was completed on 13 August 2026 and is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when Spadoni is due to return to Avellino. He becomes part of Crotone’s senior squad after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 season with Avellino’s Under-19 side.

Spadoni, who was born in Mokamo, stands 1.83m tall and is left-footed. He plays primarily through the middle as a centre-forward and holds both DR Congo and Italian nationality.

His most productive spell in the available youth records came in Primavera 2 – B, where he scored seven goals in 14 appearances. He also registered 10 goals in 31 Under-18 matches, while scoring once in five appearances in the Viareggio Cup and once in two Under-18 Finals outings.

Spadoni began his development with Torino’s youth teams, moving from Torino FC Youth to the club’s Under-17 side in July 2023. He then stepped up to Torino Under-18 a year later before joining Torino Under-20 in July 2025.

He was part of the Torino Under-18 team that won the Italian Youth Championship in the 2024-25 season. That campaign preceded a series of moves involving Torino and Avellino, with Spadoni joining Avellino Under-19 on loan in January 2026.

The striker returned to Torino Under-20 at the end of that loan in June 2026, before moving to Avellino Under-19 on a permanent basis on 1 July. Crotone have now taken him on loan for the 2026-27 campaign.

Spadoni’s arrival adds a young central attacking option to Crotone’s squad as the club prepares for its Serie C schedule. His recorded career includes appearances in Primavera 1, Primavera 2 – B, Under-17 and Under-18 competitions, as well as youth knockout tournaments.

The loan move to Crotone was completed on 13 August 2026, with Spadoni contracted to remain at the club until 30 June 2027.
