K-Sport bring in Senegal forward Alioune Thioune from Ghiviborgo

Senegalese forward Alioune Thioune has joined K-Sport from Ghiviborgo on a free transfer, completing a move that takes the 22-year-old centre-forward to the Serie D – F division club. Thioune joined K-Sport on 12 August 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027.

The move follows one season at Ghiviborgo, where Thioune played 25 times in Serie D – E during the 2025-26 campaign. He scored four goals and supplied one assist, playing 1,184 minutes across the competition.

Thioune arrived at Ghiviborgo from Virtus Entella in August 2025. Before that, he had progressed through Entella’s youth structure, moving from the club’s Under-19 side into the senior team for the 2024-25 season.

His time with Virtus Entella brought team success, as the club won the Serie C title in Group B and the Serie C Super Cup in 2024-25. Thioune’s senior career has also included brief appearances in Serie C and the Coppa Italia, alongside his more substantial spell in Serie D.

The forward’s record at youth level included 10 goals in 22 Primavera 2 appearances during the 2022-23 season, as well as three goals in 23 appearances in the following Primavera 2 campaign. He also scored three times across Under-17 competitions.

Thioune becomes part of K-Sport’s squad for the 2026-27 season, with his move recorded as a free transfer and his new contract secured through the end of June 2027.
