Ryan Fosso transfer: Standard Liege linked with Sturm Graz midfielder

Cameroon-Swiss midfielder Ryan Fosso has been linked with a move from Sturm Graz to Standard Liege.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder joined the Austrian Bundesliga club from Fortuna Sittard in January 2026 for a reported €900,000. His current market value is listed at €2m.

Fosso has made six appearances for Sturm Graz this season, including four in Champions League qualifying, one in the Bundesliga and one in the Austrian Cup, where he scored once. He has started half of the club’s Bundesliga matches and featured from the outset in their cup tie.

The possible move would take Fosso to Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, with Standard Liege identified as the club interested in the player. No transfer fee or negotiations have been reported, and the link remains at the rumour stage.

Born in Lugano, Fosso developed in Switzerland and previously played for FC Vaduz before moving to the Netherlands. He won the Liechtenstein Cup twice with Vaduz, in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, before joining Fortuna Sittard on a free transfer.

Fosso’s contract situation at Sturm Graz has not been disclosed. He is currently part of the Austrian side’s midfield squad, having made four appearances in Champions League qualifying during the opening weeks of the campaign.
