Real Betis consider move for Nottingham Forest striker Arnaud Kalimuendo

French striker Arnaud Kalimuendo is being linked with a move from Nottingham Forest to Real Betis.

The 24-year-old centre-forward returned to Forest in June after completing a loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he made 19 Bundesliga appearances and scored six goals. He had joined the Premier League club from Rennes in August 2025 in a deal worth €30m.

Kalimuendo made nine Premier League appearances for Forest, playing 88 minutes in total, before moving to Germany in January. His current market value is listed at €25m, below the fee Forest paid for him.

The forward has a contract with Forest until 30 June 2030, meaning any move to Real Betis would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer. No transfer fee or probability has been established for the reported move.

Kalimuendo came through the Paris Saint-Germain academy and won the French title with the club in the 2021-22 season. He also helped France’s Olympic team finish second at the 2024 Games.

Forest’s decision on the player comes after a season in which he spent part of the campaign away from the City Ground, while Real Betis are now understood to be the club linked with his signature.
