Besiktas weigh approach for Viking FK midfielder Tobias Moi

Viking FK midfielder Tobias Moi, a 20-year-old dual national of Norway and Senegal, has been linked with a move to Besiktas.

Moi plays as a defensive midfielder and has made nine appearances in the 2026 Eliteserien season, starting 38% of Viking’s possible league matches. He has not scored or provided an assist in those matches.

The midfielder has also featured in all three of Viking’s NM-Cup fixtures this season, while making three appearances for the club’s side in Norsk Tipping-Ligaen avdeling 4, where he has scored once.

Moi joined Viking’s first team from Viking FK II in January 2025. He spent part of the following season on loan at Asane before returning to Viking at the end of 2025.

Besiktas are being linked with a move that would take the player from Norway’s Eliteserien to Turkey’s Super Lig. No transfer fee or probability for the proposed deal has been established.

Moi’s current market value is listed at €1.5 million, while his contract with Viking FK runs until 31 December 2029.
