Galatasaray target Stuttgart midfielder Bilal El Khannouss
Moroccan-Belgian attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, currently with Stuttgart, has been linked with a move to Galatasaray.
El Khannouss, 22, joined the Bundesliga club from Leicester on 1 July 2026 in a deal worth €15m. He is under contract with Stuttgart until 30 June 2030, leaving Galatasaray to negotiate a move for a player whose market value is listed at €35m.
The midfielder spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Stuttgart from Leicester, with the German club paying a €3m loan fee before making the move permanent. He had joined Leicester from Genk in August 2024 for €22.5m.
El Khannouss began his senior career at Genk after progressing through the Belgian club’s youth system. He made his international breakthrough with Morocco and was part of the squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025. He also helped Morocco Under-23s win the Under-23 Africa Cup in 2023 and was involved in the team that claimed bronze at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The potential switch would take El Khannouss from the Bundesliga to the Turkish Super Lig, with Galatasaray identified as the club seeking his signature. No transfer fee or probability has been attached to the rumour.
El Khannouss remains a Stuttgart player and is contracted to the club for four more seasons.
