Sibiry Keita: Mali midfielder leaves Milsami to become a free agent

Mali left midfielder Sibiry Keita has joined the ranks of unattached players after leaving Moldovan champions Milsami.

Keita, 25, ended his spell with the Super Liga club on 12 August 2026. He is now without a club after departing Milsami, where he won the Moldavian championship during the 2024-25 season.

The Bamako-born player operates on the left side of midfield and is naturally left-footed. He stands 1.75m tall and has Mali as his nationality.

Keita’s success with Milsami came after he had already won an international age-group title with Mali. He was part of the Mali Under-17 side that lifted the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations in 2017.

His departure brings an end to his time with the Moldovan club, although no transfer fee or new contract details have been given. Keita’s next club has not been stated, leaving him available after his exit from Milsami.

The midfielder’s playing background includes domestic success in Moldova and an African youth championship with Mali. His move away from Milsami was recorded on 12 August 2026.

Keita has therefore left Milsami and is now a free agent.
