Enzo Molebe: Lausanne-Sport sign France and DR Congo striker from Lyon on loan

France and DR Congo forward Enzo Molebe has joined Swiss Super League club Lausanne-Sport from Lyon on loan, completing a move that takes the 18-year-old centre-forward out of Ligue 1.

Molebe joined Lausanne-Sport on 11 August 2026 and has a contract running until 30 June 2027. The deal is a loan transfer, with no fee disclosed for the move.

Born in Decines-Charpieu, France, Molebe is eligible to represent both France and the Democratic Republic of Congo. He stands 1.78 metres tall and is predominantly right-footed.

The move sees Molebe leave Lyon, where he had been part of the club’s setup, for a new spell in Switzerland. He will now continue his development in the Swiss top flight with Lausanne-Sport, whose senior team competes in the Super League.

Molebe’s primary position is centre-forward, giving Lausanne-Sport a young attacking option as they build their squad for the 2026-27 campaign. His listed market value is €800,000, although that figure is separate from the terms of the loan agreement.

The striker’s arrival also adds a player with links to two footballing nations to Lausanne-Sport’s squad. His nationality and background provide an international dimension to a move that marks his switch from French football to the Swiss league.

The transfer was completed on 11 August, with Molebe joining Lausanne-Sport from Lyon on loan until the new contract’s stated expiry date of 30 June 2027.
