Nathan Ngoumou linked with AJ Auxerre move from Borussia Monchengladbach
Nathan Ngoumou, the Cameroon-France winger at Borussia Monchengladbach, has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 club AJ Auxerre.
The 26-year-old right winger remains under contract with the Bundesliga side until 30 June 2027, meaning any transfer would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free move.
Ngoumou joined Monchengladbach from Toulouse on 30 August 2022 in a deal reported at €8m. He had developed through Toulouse’s academy and helped the club win the French second-tier title in the 2021-22 season before moving to Germany.
His current market value is listed at €3.5m, below the fee Monchengladbach paid for him four years ago. The potential move would represent a return to French football for a player who spent the early part of his senior career with Toulouse.
Auxerre, who compete in Ligue 1, are the club currently linked with Ngoumou, while Monchengladbach remain his registered side. There has been no confirmation of an agreement between the clubs or of personal terms with the player.
Ngoumou’s contract at Monchengladbach runs through the end of June 2027.
