PSG’s Ibrahim Mbaye linked with move to Porto

Senegalese-French winger Ibrahim Mbaye has been linked with a move from Paris Saint-Germain to Porto.

Mbaye, 18, is under contract with the French champions until 30 June 2028, meaning Porto would likely have to negotiate a permanent transfer rather than wait for his deal to run down. His current market value is listed at €30m.

The right winger joined PSG’s senior squad from Paris Saint-Germain Under-23s in July 2025, having progressed through the club’s youth system since arriving from Versailles in 2018. He has also represented PSG Under-19s and Under-17s during his development.

Mbaye’s honours with the Paris club include two Champions League titles, two French league championships and a French Cup. He was also part of PSG’s 2025-26 trophy-winning campaign, which included the Champions League, French title, Uefa Super Cup and Fifa Intercontinental Cup.

The reported interest from Porto comes with Mbaye still tied to PSG for two more seasons beyond the current campaign. There is no indication that a fee or agreement has been reached, and the transfer remains at the rumour stage.

Mbaye is listed as a right winger and holds Senegalese and French nationality. He remains a PSG player with a contract running until June 2028.
