Romelu Lukaku: Napoli striker linked with Fenerbahce move
Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian striker at Napoli, is being linked with a move to Fenerbahce in Turkey.
Lukaku joined Napoli on 29 August 2024 and remains under contract with the Serie A club until 30 June 2027. The 33-year-old centre-forward has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce, who play in the Turkish Super Lig, but the rumour has not been confirmed.
The former Belgium forward was part of Napoli’s Serie A title-winning team in the 2024-25 season and also collected an Italian Super Cup winners’ medal with the club in 2025-26.
Lukaku has built much of his career in Italy, winning the Serie A title previously with Inter Milan in 2020-21 and being named Serie A Player of the Year that season. He also won the Italian Cup and Italian Super Cup with Inter in 2022-23.
His honours include two Belgian league titles with Anderlecht, the 2012 English FA Cup with Chelsea and the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup. He was also the leading scorer in the 2023-24 European qualifiers, scoring 14 goals.
Napoli’s current agreement with Lukaku means any move would involve a transfer before the end of his contract, rather than a free transfer.
