Othniel Raterink linked with ADO Den Haag move from Cagliari

Othniel Raterink, a defender of Dutch and DR Congo nationality at Cagliari, is being linked with a move to ADO Den Haag.

The 20-year-old right-back joined the Serie A club on 30 January 2026 and has a contract running until 30 June 2030. Raterink was born in Winterswijk in the Netherlands and stands 1.89m tall.

The possible move would take Raterink to the Eredivisie, with ADO Den Haag identified as the club interested in signing him from Cagliari. There has been no indication of a confirmed agreement, transfer fee or completed negotiations.

Raterink’s current market value is listed at €1m. He is predominantly a right-footed defender and wears number 18 at Cagliari.

The reported interest comes only months after his arrival in Italy, with the long-term contract meaning Cagliari remain tied to the player beyond the current transfer window. Any move to ADO Den Haag would therefore involve a player who remains under contract with the Serie A side rather than approaching the end of his deal.
