The newly appointed coach for Tunisia found it hard to swallow the inefficiency of his team, despite having numerous scoring opportunities. “It’s unfortunate to have squandered so many chances. We controlled the game well, with a few moments of hesitation, but we must not forget the caliber of our opponents. Now, our focus is on ensuring we score in Yaoundé. We have the means to achieve it,” he commented, as reported by Gnet.
In a heated video reaction on Tunisian television, Krol, visibly upset, discussed the missed opportunities, with an intervention by Volker Finke, his counterpart from Cameroon.
