Chelsea centre-forward Emmanuel Emegha linked with Besiktas move
Emmanuel Emegha, the Dutch-Nigerian centre-forward currently at Chelsea, has been linked with a move to Besiktas.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea on 1 July 2026 and has a contract with the Premier League club until 30 June 2033. The reported interest from Besiktas comes little more than a month after his arrival in London, with the proposed move connecting clubs from England’s Premier League and Turkey’s Super Lig.
Emegha was born in The Hague on 3 February 2003 and is listed at 1.96m. He is right-footed and plays primarily as a centre-forward. His market value is recorded at €25m, although no transfer fee has been attached to the rumour.
Before joining Chelsea, Emegha won the Austrian Cup with Sturm Graz in the 2022-23 season. That remains his recorded senior honour.
The player’s nationality is listed as both Netherlands and Nigeria. The rumour is dated 10 August 2026, with Besiktas named as the club interested in taking him from Chelsea.
Emegha remains under a long-term Chelsea contract, with his current agreement scheduled to run until the end of June 2033.
