Al-Diriyah hold talks for Darwin Nunez, Malcom and Enzo Millot
Al-Diriyah are in advanced negotiations to sign Al Hilal forwards Darwin Nunez and Malcom, as well as Al Ahli midfielder Enzo Millot, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
The talks over Malcom and Millot are understood to be progressing positively, with Al-Diriyah moving closer to reaching agreements with all parties and completing both deals.
However, negotiations for Nunez remain at an earlier stage. The report says discussions over the Al Hilal player could accelerate at the beginning of next week, as Al-Diriyah continue their efforts to strengthen their squad.
Nunez has been linked with a move away from Al Hilal this summer, and his situation is being monitored as the club from Saudi Arabia’s second division attempts to finalise its recruitment plans.
The proposed move would see Al-Diriyah attempt to bring in three players from two of the country’s leading clubs. Malcom and Nunez are both contracted to Al Hilal, while Millot plays in midfield for Al Ahli.
The negotiations involving Malcom and Millot appear to have advanced further than those for Nunez. Al-Diriyah are reportedly hopeful of reaching an agreement with the relevant parties to conclude the two transfers, while talks for Nunez remain in their initial phase.
The club’s interest in strengthening its squad comes after Al-Diriyah earned promotion from the Saudi second division and will compete in the Saudi Pro League this season. That step up has prompted the club to seek additions capable of supporting its squad at the higher level.
Asharq Al-Awsat reported on Monday, 10 August 2026, that negotiations were under way for all three players. It added that the pace of discussions could increase early next week, potentially providing greater clarity over the proposed transfers.
For now, the Malcom and Millot negotiations are the closest to an agreement, while Nunez’s possible departure from Al Hilal remains subject to further talks. Al-Diriyah’s pursuit of the trio reflects its immediate priority of reinforcing the team before its first season in the Saudi Pro League following promotion from the second tier.
