Marumo Gallants sign Onke Moletshe from TS Galaxy
Marumo Gallants have signed winger Onke Moletshe from TS Galaxy on a two-year contract as they continue reshaping their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season.
The 26-year-old becomes the latest addition to a Gallants side being rebuilt under new head coach Phuti Mohafe. The club have been active during the off-season, with Moletshe now expected to play an important role in the manager’s revamped team.
Moletshe joins Gallants after a spell with TS Galaxy, where he struggled for regular opportunities during a difficult campaign for the club. He fell out of favour under then head coach Adnan Beganovic and has now been allowed to continue his career elsewhere.
His move to TS Galaxy followed an impressive period in the second tier. Moletshe first rose through the ranks at Jomo Cosmos before establishing himself as one of the division’s leading performers. He later enjoyed a productive spell with Venda FC, form that helped earn him a move to the Rockets last season.
Gallants believe the winger can make a significant contribution as Mohafe continues to assemble his new-look squad. His arrival provides another attacking option for a team seeking to strengthen before the start of the new Betway Premiership campaign.
The transfer represents a fresh opportunity for Moletshe after his limited involvement at TS Galaxy. Having previously built a strong reputation in the second tier, he will now look to re-establish himself at Gallants and secure a regular place in Mohafe’s plans.
Gallants’ recruitment activity forms part of a wider off-season overhaul following the appointment of Mohafe. The club are continuing to make changes to their squad as they prepare for the 2026/27 season, with Moletshe the latest player to join the project.
The winger’s two-year deal gives him the chance to settle at the club and become a key part of the team’s plans. Gallants will hope his previous performances at Jomo Cosmos and Venda FC can be replicated in the Betway Premiership.
Moletshe’s move was reported by Lorenz Kohler.
