Ghana’s Daniel-Kofi Kyereh set for comeback with Osnabrück after long injury battle

Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is set to begin a new chapter in his career after agreeing to join German second-tier side VfL Osnabrück, according to Sky Sports.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to complete the free transfer early next week as he looks to rebuild his career following a difficult period marked by serious injuries.

Kyereh arrives at Osnabrück after leaving Bundesliga club SC Freiburg, where his contract expired on 30 June 2026.

Long road back for Ghana midfielder

The move represents a major comeback opportunity for Kyereh, who has spent more than three years away from competitive football after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in February 2023.
