Badou Ndiaye joins Mağusa Türk Gücü for new career challenge

Senegalese midfielder Badou Ndiaye has completed a move to Mağusa Türk Gücü, with the Northern Cyprus club confirming the arrival of the experienced former international as he begins a new chapter in his career.

The 35-year-old joins the Turkish Cypriot side after spending several seasons in Turkey, where he built a strong reputation through spells with some of the country’s leading clubs.

Based in Famagusta (Mağusa), northern Cyprus, Mağusa Türk Gücü competes in the Northern Cyprus Championship and has secured the services of a player with extensive experience at the highest level of European football.

Ndiaye arrives after a career that has included successful periods with Osmanlıspor, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Fatih Karagümrük, Adana Demirspor and Gaziantep FK, the club he represented before becoming a free agent.

The Senegalese midfielder developed his football at Diambars FC before making the move into professional football in Norway with Bodø/Glimt.

His performances there opened the door to a successful European career, with Turkey becoming the main stage of his development.

During his time with Galatasaray, Ndiaye enjoyed one of the highlights of his career by winning the Turkish league title in 2018.

The midfielder also accumulated significant experience across different competitions and has made close to 300 professional appearances throughout his career.

His arrival at Mağusa Türk Gücü adds further quality and leadership to the squad, with the club securing a player known for his technical ability, work rate and understanding of the game.

Although Ndiaye is entering the later stages of his playing career, his experience at clubs such as Galatasaray and Trabzonspor provides valuable knowledge that could benefit his new team.

The midfielder’s contract details with Mağusa Türk Gücü have not yet been revealed, but the move represents another step in a journey that has taken him across several countries and competitions.
