Senegal midfielder Babacar Diack seals AS Camberene return after Chrudim spell

Senegal midfielder Babacar Diack has joined AS Camberene from Czech club Chrudim, completing a move back to the Senegalese side on 5 August 2026.

The 20-year-old central midfielder returns to AS Camberene less than six months after leaving the club for Chrudim. He joined the Czech side on 13 February 2026 before switching back to his former club at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Diack made one appearance during his time with Chrudim, featuring for 20 minutes in the ChNL. The move brings that spell in the Czech Republic to an end and restores his association with AS Camberene.

Born in Saint-Louis, Senegal, Diack has spent the latest stage of his career moving between football in Senegal and the Czech Republic. His return to AS Camberene gives the club back a midfielder who had previously been part of its squad before his February departure.

The transfer was completed on 5 August, with Diack now registered as an AS Camberene player. He operates primarily in central midfield, the position in which he has been used during his senior career.

Diack’s move follows a short spell at Chrudim, where his competitive involvement was limited to a single 20-minute appearance. His return means the Senegalese club is again his current home after only a brief period away.

The 2006-born midfielder began the 2026-27 campaign by rejoining AS Camberene, bringing his latest club change to a completed conclusion.
