The model also factors in the idea that earnings tend to decline with age.

Mbappe’s latest estimated annual income is around 95 million dollars, a figure that helps explain why he stands out in the projection. His global profile and commercial appeal make him one of the strongest financial brands in sport, even before considering any future club deals or sponsorship growth.

The study says Canelo Alvarez could reach billionaire status sooner, in 2037 at age 47, while Jon Rahm is projected around 2042. For Mbappe, the path is already impressive: elite performances on the pitch are being matched by a financial trajectory few athletes ever approach.
