Egypt superstar Mohamed Salah undergoes medical tests ahead of Trabzonspor move

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has undergone his medical examination as he closes in Trabzonspor move in the current transfer window.

Salah ended his nine-year spell with Premier League giants Liverpool at the end of last season despite having a year left on his contract.

After arriving in turkey on early Wednesday, the 34-year-old forward has swiftly undergone health check-up at the Acıbadem Maslak Hospital as part of the procedures required before putting pen to paper.

The Egyptian international received a hero’s welcome upon his arrival in Turkey, with hundreds of enthusiastic Trabzonspor supporters gathering to celebrate the arrival of one of the most recognisable footballers in the world.

Fans gathered at Atatürk Airport carrying banners and chanting Salah’s name, showing their excitement over the club’s ambitious move to secure the services of a player who has achieved legendary status at both club and international level.

The former Liverpool forward is expected to sign a two-year contract with an option for an additional season, with reports suggesting that he will become one of the highest-paid players in Turkish football.
