Herita Ilunga, the 31-year-old Congolese footballer, will not be playing for Nancy as initially announced. The National Directorate of Management Control (DNCG) reportedly rejected the approval of the two-year contract offered by the French Ligue 2 club to the former Rennes defender. Ilunga, who signed a six-month contract with Stade Rennes in January 2013, faced multiple injuries during his time with the team, limiting his playing time. He has also represented the DR Congo national team in 32 matches.
