El Mehdi Maouhoub: Morocco forward linked with United FC move from Dynamo Moscow

Morocco striker El Mehdi Maouhoub, who plays for Dynamo Moscow, has been linked with a move to United FC in the UAE Pro League.

The 23-year-old centre-forward is the subject of transfer interest after joining Dynamo from Raja Casablanca in August 2024. The reported link comes with Maouhoub’s current market value placed at €1m, although no transfer fee or agreement has been reported.

Maouhoub has yet to feature for Dynamo in the 2026-27 Premier Liga campaign, with the club having played two possible league matches. He remains under contract in Moscow until 30 June 2029.

The forward arrived in Russia after helping Raja Casablanca win the Moroccan league and cup during the 2023-24 season. Dynamo paid €1.7m for his services, following his move to Raja from FUS Rabat earlier in that campaign.

Maouhoub also represented Morocco at the 2024 Olympic Games, where the team finished third. He scored once during the tournament.

A move to United FC would take the Casablanca-born striker to the UAE Pro League, but the rumour remains unconfirmed and there is no indication yet that a deal has been agreed.
