Real Sociedad linked with NEOM defender Nathan Zeze
French-Ivorian centre-back Nathan Zeze is being linked with a move from Saudi Pro League club NEOM SC to LaLiga side Real Sociedad.
Zeze, 21, joined NEOM from FC Nantes in July 2025 in a deal worth €20m and remains under contract until 30 June 2030. His current market value is listed at €20m.
The defender made 31 Saudi Pro League appearances during his first season with NEOM, scoring twice and providing one assist. He also played once in the King’s Cup.
Zeze began his senior career with Nantes, progressing from the club’s youth system to the reserve side before making the permanent step into the first team in 2023. He made 32 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes, playing 2,595 minutes, before moving to Saudi Arabia.
The potential transfer would represent a return to European football for the Nantes-born defender, who is eligible to represent both France and Ivory Coast. His record also includes appearances in the Coupe de France and UEFA Youth League.
There is no indication that a deal has been agreed, with Zeze currently contracted to NEOM and Real Sociedad only linked with a possible move.
