Moumi Ngamaleu brings European experience to Pafos FC in Cyprus

Moumi Ngamaleu has signed for Pafos FC after leaving Dynamo Moscow, beginning a new chapter in the Cypriot league with the reigning champions.

The 32-year-old Cameroon international has agreed a two-season contract that will keep him at the club until June 2028. Pafos FC confirmed the transfer on social media.

The move was completed after Ngamaleu became a free agent following a turbulent end to his time in Russia. His arrival gives Pafos FC an experienced option in attack as they prepare to defend their domestic title and continue competing at the highest level available to the club.

Ngamaleu has played almost 400 matches during his professional career and has contributed more than 130 goals and assists. He has also appeared in European club football’s leading competitions, featuring in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.

The forward has won several trophies in Switzerland, where he established himself before moving on to other European leagues. His career at the top level has included experience of domestic football and international competition, qualities Pafos FC will hope can strengthen their squad.

Before joining the Cypriot champions, Ngamaleu spent four seasons with Dynamo Moscow. His final campaign in Russia ended with 21 league appearances, four goals and two assists.

The former Dynamo Moscow player is currently valued at €2.5m, according to the information provided in the report of his transfer.

Ngamaleu was born in Yaounde and remains an international player for Cameroon, known as the Indomitable Lions. His move to Pafos FC represents a fresh start following the unsettled conclusion to his spell in Moscow.
