Sion Oppong close to €4m Toulouse move from Brommapojkarna

Brommapojkarna look poised to complete a major sale, with 18-year-old winger Sion Oppong on the verge of joining French Ligue 1 side Toulouse.

Reports in France claim Toulouse are ready to offer around four million euros for the highly rated youngster.

Oppong has broken through in the Allsvenskan this season, making 14 league appearances and contributing two goals and an assist. He was promoted to IF Brommapojkarna’s senior squad in January 2025 alongside teammate Oskar Cotton, marking the next step in his development.

He made his competitive debut on 23 February 2025, coming on for Love Arrhov in a 3-0 Svenska Cupen win over Orgryte IS, and his Allsvenskan debut followed on 5 October 2025 in a 1-3 loss to BK Hacken, again replacing Arrhov. During that campaign he also gained experience on loan at Viggbyholms IK and FC Stockholm.

Oppong’s first Allsvenskan goal arrived on 4 May 2026 away to Halmstads BK, and a few weeks later he struck his second, the winner in a 1-0 home victory against Kalmar FF. Toulouse, who finished ninth in Ligue 1 last season, appear to view him as a dynamic wide option with significant upside.
