Zakaria Ajoughlal switches to RCA Zemamra after AS FAR Rabat spell

Morocco attacking midfielder Zakaria Ajoughlal has joined RCA Zemamra from AS FAR Rabat, beginning a new chapter in the 25-year-old’s Botola Pro career. Ajoughlal completed the move on 4 August 2026 and has signed a contract with RCA Zemamra that runs until 30 June 2028.

The Rabat-born midfielder arrives after two years with AS FAR Rabat, where he established himself following a period with the club’s reserve side. He spent the first half of 2026 on loan at El-Mansour before returning to AS FAR at the end of the season. His move to RCA Zemamra followed shortly afterwards.

Ajoughlal operates primarily as an attacking midfielder and is left-footed. He has recorded 47 appearances, three goals and two assists in the Botola Pro Inwi, while also featuring in continental and domestic cup competitions.

His record includes seven appearances in the CAF Champions League, where he provided two assists, and five appearances in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, contributing two assists. He also scored once in the Excellence Cup.

The transfer continues a career that has included several moves within Moroccan football. Ajoughlal joined FAR Reserve from US Sale on a free transfer in January 2022, before spending time on loan at COD Meknes and USM Oujda. He then returned to FAR Reserve before progressing to AS FAR Rabat in July 2024.

Ajoughlal’s latest move keeps him in the Botola Pro Inwi, with RCA Zemamra becoming his latest club in Morocco’s top-flight football structure. His contract ensures that his next permanent base will be the club until the summer of 2028.

The switch also reunites him with the domestic competition in which he has accumulated the largest share of his senior experience. Across his recorded Botola appearances, he has played 1,767 minutes, with his three goals coming at an average of 589 minutes per goal.

Ajoughlal has now left AS FAR Rabat and completed his move to RCA Zemamra, where he is contracted until 30 June 2028.
