Aris Saloniki linked with unattached defender Ibrahim Cisse
French-Senegalese centre-back Ibrahim Cisse, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Aris Saloniki in Greece’s Super League 1.
Cisse, 30, left Hungarian champions Ferencvaros on 1 July after three seasons with the Budapest club. He won two Hungarian league titles during his time there and helped Ferencvaros lift the Hungarian Cup in 2025-26.
The right-footed defender joined Ferencvaros from French club SM Caen in July 2023 and made 71 appearances in Hungary’s top flight. He also featured 22 times in the Europa League, scoring once and providing two assists.
Cisse began his senior career with Tours before spells at Angers, Paris FC, USL Dunkerque and Caen. His strongest period of European involvement came at Ferencvaros, where he also played in the Champions League qualifying rounds and the Conference League.
His current market value is listed at €2.5m. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported as part of the reported interest from Aris Saloniki, and the move remains a rumour.
